Cost of Wrapping Steering wheel in Leather

This seems like an obvious question, but I was asking around a few mates and around here a year or so ago on the cost of getting a steering wheel wrapped in leather, and someone said around $100...I rang up to get a quote from a joint in Melbourne Eastern suburbs and they wanted $450!

So my question is, who has gone to a auto trimmer and had it done? And how much did you pay. How much do you think I should pay?

for $250. might have been "mates rates" im not sure, but i do a bit of business with the guy and he happened to have some italian leather left from another job. its all hand stitched.

dont go cheap cos its the most hard wearing part of your car. and it will die really quickly.
