    Question Does this look good?

Do you like this style of rims and the way the car sits. Since i moved to the jap scene, i can't stand huge gaps between the wheels and guards and holdens have always really failed to get it. Maybe a cultural thing but i think such style works well with any car.

    low, wide, loud.

    what do you guys think?

then why do so many people fail to get the correct offsets for their rims then? every man and his dog has a body kit with aftermarket rims and an inch gap if not more between them.

cause people have individual tastes, also things like the amount of money they have and priorities on which money can be spent on.

Get it?, got it?, doubt it.

honestly, i didn't bother searching. i really didn't expect it to be on this form.

i thought stuff like stanceworks/hellaflush was only big in the jap scene.

when buying new rims, it doesn't cost ANYTHING to get a more aggressive offset. then again, those are real BBS rims not cheap chinese shit which a lot of people do buy.

    1. people are cheap
    2. most people wouldnt know what offset even meant
    3. it requires some effort and thought to make low offset wheels work properly.

theres not a lot of wheels for commodores with aggressive offsets, and most tyre shops would just sell what fits, its less effort for them and 9 times out of 10 would guarantee a sale.

stance isnt a jap specific style, its very big in the euro scene aswell. it hasnt really taken off in aus, probably mostly due to all the restrictions in vehicle modifications, and how hard its enforced.

a lot of people spend so much on leather, you'd think they'd bother to spend an hour researching rims properly.

true, euro scene as well. i think the problem is car shows like autosalon. lol.

    10 points right there.

the right stance looks killer and my ute is failing badly at it right now. being a poor uni student doesn't help but i know what i wish it was.

Looks good but more Euro than Jap style to me, like something you would see on Top gear. Unfortunatley the rear tyres are too narrow for the rims so that spoils it.
