hey guys i installed a transgo stage 2 shift kit to my vx v6 on the weekend and am not totally happy with the results. my 1-2 shift is alot firmer (i also fitted corvette servo) but still not as firm as i would have liked. nearly but not quite there. the 2-3 and 3-4 shifts are still very slugish. when installing the kit i chose the option of 2 spacer plates in the 2nd accumulator (street strip option). should i rip it open again and put the 3rd spacer in (i am running the stock stall converter) to firm up the overall shifts? will the 3rd spacer put to much stress on the (other than the shift kit) stock 4l60e transmission? i did not drill out any holes in the cover plate. would this cause slow soft shifts? and if so, which holes and how big should i drill them too? im fairly new to the world of transmissions so english please
cheers
anyone had experience with this??
follow instructions you cant go wrong
I tune the oldschool way fear on the passengers face and knuckle colour cant go wrong
tabbacco is still my favorite vegetable
if you want hard shifts get billet servos, totally superior. expensive, but well worth it. definitely run a cooler with them.
