As long as you didn't continue driving it should be ok. Tighten it up better next time.
Is a common ve 6.0 Problem. The inner and outer seperate leaving the pulley part of the balancer sitting in the bottom of you're splash guard. If under warranty, Holden should do under waranty if not a new balancer, bolt and belts will probably be required. Also the tools to remove the old inner pulley.
Did you overheat the engine or pull over straight away?
Do the 6.0ltrs have the crank angle gear there like the old v6's?
If so, could have mcfugged that.
pulled over straight away and towed to my performance shop. all new POWER BOND pulleys, seal, crank shaft pulley, bearings, belt ect, and some special bolt that holds the crank shaft pulley on. under warranty![]()

i think the seperation of the harmonic balencer may have somethink to do with the amount of power you wrangled out of your engine mate i hope the new one is stronger who ever did your engine should of upgraded it
Mine is stock and seperated at 30000kms Holden was not surprised claimed that it was a known problem.
