Hey guys, just joined up

like the look of the forum! after owning about 15 e series fords a vn ss project has come up very cheap off a mate so i have decided to buy it, should be picking it up next weekend.

its a pretty standard vn ss 5 speed factory. has pacemaker extractors and single 3 inch, 17" vy ss rims lowered all round, few bits like gilmer belt set. various stereo gear with it. car is currently in pieces tho. motor and box are out and dash is out for some rewiring.

Going to sell the 5 speed and put a turbo 400 in it and rebuild the engine into a 355. not sure if i will go carbie or not. bit of a stereo mainly for skids and cruising.

had a few tough fords, ed faitmont 5 litre with basic efi mods (pipes, chip, t/b, stall, shift kit and diff gears) made 130 at the wheels bit disapointed. other ford i had was a eb fairmont ghia with a 347 stroker, alloy heads, forged scat internals etc. tough motor, made 207 on 8.5 comp.

dont plan to boost this vn but am aiming for over 200 n/a.
