So basically i wanna know what i can and cannot do to my car in NSW as a P plater currently own a 99 VT Berlina its a slugamatic.
The local cops have already gone over it to try to defect it,town im in is very small and us P platers get picked on extremely bad.
i know all the obvious ones like V8s Turbos etc.
Also open for suggestions(visuals and Performance)
Currently have
Tint
Rims
i have adjusted my kickdown cable
I dont give a damn about subs im saving for exhaust and speakers now
anyways cheers for suggestions and what not in advance
hey man, can help with a list,
but maybe look into a set of high ratio roller rockers, cops wouldnt even know they were there. Mace Engineering sell them, check the sponsers page.

If you say you get looked at often, anything is illegal. Modifying your car in any way can be defectable. Use common sense, rims are often defectable, exhaust usually is unless engineered.
Oh no kickdown cable huh???
thats why the local mechanic suggested it to me and showed me where it was and what it did??

this was also suggested by alot of other P platers and drivers in town so go away with your useless info

HE DOES HAVE A KICK DOWN CABLE YOU FOOLS!!!....... oh no wait im thinking of my Vn lol..... but seriously man everyone knows a Vt don't have a kick down cable
started automatic transmission at tafe yesterday and we learnt all about this stuff...throttle valve pressures, governor pressures and kickdown cables...luckily for us we have a VT with 456km on it that we're investigating into next week...VT's won't have a kickdown cable, but if there is that slight chance there is, i'll ask my tafe teacher, and if there is, i'll get photo's for everyone...so next tuesday will determine if the VT has a kickdown cable..unless someone beats me to it haha
