Default TIme to change

Hi guys im new to the site but now new to the commodores,

Ive been a long term lover of Commodores and (even a bit of Falcons (xr6t ) at the start of the year I was very interested in picking up (first saving up offcourse) a VX SS II... but after witnessing LS1 engines experience quiet a bit of faults (often needing a rebuild due to piston slap) and the fact that they drink petrol like crazy and the new petrol prices scared the **** out of me (not as bad an old 5 litre V8) Ive decided to turn to Japanese cars, in that sense a Nissan 200sx. Call me a traitor but IMO they are great sports cars that drink LESS than a stock Ecotec V6 and go as hard as a VX+ SS, they also respond great to fairly cheap mods and have a **** lod of spare parts in Aus.

Im currently saving up for an s15 and wanting to buy early next year, being a tall bloke Ill miss the space of a roomy commo but what can ya do If I had my way Id go a Monaro (preferebly GTS coupe) but petrol is dear and I dont have 35+K to spend on the new car... but atm I still get to drive my bros VS commo every now and then... after 7 years I think its time to get something for myself

Cheers
