All you have to do is drill and tap a hole in the webing about 5-7 mm from the old hole in the master cylinder see picture below for the reservoir securing screw and you can fit the vs reservoir or if you venture into a ford parts stockist a au falcon one will bolt straight up (shock horror) no drilling required but it will cost you 20 + bux from them.
As for pedal pin redrill hole ,I drill the hole (its a couple of sizes over 3/8)from a jig I made but it is 112.5 to 113 mm from the solid metal(not the gasket foam) of the boltup face ( bracket bolted up tight to the booster ) to the centre of the new pedal hole. You also have to cut off the flattened end of the pushrod by 4 or 5 mm. You also need to stop the noise getting into the cabin from the engine through the pushrod hole with some foam etc.

    Beaut. Thanks Mark, that's perfect.

Well the pads and rotors have worn in now...it stops very well, and is quite good. But still, after driving my old man's VT wagon to compare....there is no way I would not put on the VT booster....So I will update this once I have the booster installed! And the problem should be solved!
