    Question Difference between transmission coolers.

    Hi.

Want to know what the difference is between these two transmission coolers ive found on ebay. There's a significant price difference which has got me curious.

    Exhibit A = $232

AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER PWR COMMODORE VY VZ - eBay, Other, Car Parts, Accessories, Cars, Bikes, Boats. (end time 10-Sep-10 16:50:26 AEST)

    Exhibit B = $163

AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION COOLER "KIT" COMMODORE VY-VZ - eBay Oil Coolers, Cooling Systems, Car Parts, Accessories, Cars, Bikes, Boats. (end time 12-Sep-10 23:07:40 AEST)

Also has anyone used either product?
Is it any good, do you guys recommend any others?
What should i look for when trying to buy a transmission cooler?

    Cheers.

They are both the same brand (PWR) but one is bigger, bigger is better when it comes to transmission coolers.

Had to remove the transmission cooler off my old VL.

Ran too cool with it attached, took about 25 min for it to hit overdrive.

VL 4 speed is from JATCO I think.

Previous owner of my old VL was paranoid about the engine head going, so he had fitted a VL V8 radiator, oil cooler and a massive transmission cooler.

There's even a diff cooler plumbed in, stupid considering it doesn't and never has had a tow bar.

I have the first one bought from the same seller last year (larger of the 2 you have shown) fitted to my Senator and it was easy to fit and works well.
I do believe they are slightly cheaper now than when I bought mine.
I painted mine black for a more stealth look.
