Mate that looks funky as,, a lil bit different to mine least you wont have bonnet issues tho by the looks,, i didn notice much down low, but once it got to about 3000rpm it started to rev a lil quicker an get up some speed. other then the cool factor oh having dual throttle bodies i think you need some support mods to really get some gains. for example im getting yella terra rockers, high flow cat, just anything that will help it breath heaps better,,

All good having loads of air going in but if it cant get out any quicker then there is no real point. That's a nice find tho, as i said a lil different to others iv seen, how much was it if you done mine me asking?

    $150.
I don't think it'll make any difference TBH.
Engine will still only use as much air as it needs and the manifold will still restrict it.

Maybe with a bigger cam and a decent exhaust system might you see some good gains.

Haha, mmm. $300 is expensive due to the fact it probably wont do a great deal. Looks good though and people pay more for sillier things.
It could be usefull later depending on what you do.
I've got a set of VN heads floating around here. I could give them a small port job and generally tidy them up if you're interested in them.

Eh, it don't think its too hard. But i've done it a few times before. You'll need new gaskets and the like.

The air will flow better through them, making them work more efficiently. Basically anyway.

    Hmm, that a bit sad.
I could only suggest you keep trying. I seen him advertising a couple of days ago, so perhaps he personal issues at the time?

The effort to get through to him would surely be better then spending the $800 else where?

You payed $300 for that? Seems a little steep for some ally tube and flanges that are cut off $10 wrecker parts. But im only saying that because I could build it myself. If you cant then you have to pay for the time and materials etc.

Its a bloody good idea though. You have the throttle bodies way back off the manifold now so maybe open it up and build a bigger plenum for it. Just a suggestion.

I built a twin TB manifold for my VT and the induction noise is fairly noticeable and your exhaust note should go a little chunkier too.

It wouldn't be real hard to modify that intake manifold to make it work better. The heads will be the limiting factor.

you'd cut it down to a point where you still keep the integrity of the manifold. Probably just inline with the top of the fuel rails. Have it come out at an angle and then up into a larger box so you can still fit the injectors in place. Seen it done a few times.
