hi all.
on the way home from work tonight doing absolute mindless driving i thought i was in 4th but i was in 6th so i went to put it in "5th" and put it in reverse.. usual grind as it happends.
in my book it says that after driving af speeds of more than 10 km/h that a solenoid locks up so you cant physically put it in reverse.. but i quite clearly did
has any1 else heard of this happening? and having the reverse solenoid there but it not working does that mean i hit reverse gear head on or does it have gates ?
can these be replaced (if necessary) without too much hastle?
yeah yeah "dont do it" "your fault in the first place" i know this so you dont need to point it out to me.
it just occurred to me that i should probably have posted this in the VY section...
bump........................
you flop hahahahahaha...jokes steev, i love youhaha...i know my car grinds when i go to put i in reverse when im moving forward...unless im going super slow it will not grind..but it really doesn't like it much hahaha

im confuzzled hahaha, did it actually go into reverse as in like...your wheels will rotate backwards haha..or just grind...my mum and brother has put my ute into reverse when changing from 1st to 2nd...but it only grinds, will never actually lock in in reverse and cause the wheels to lock up/go backwards haha
