help me with upgrade

i currently own a custom 2002 mk triton 2wd LWB ute and the motor is stuffed now i'm thinking how hard will it be to fit a gen3 into it to give it some extra poke and grunt or do you reckon just go with a holden v6 or v6 supercharged motor any ideas would be great cause it looks good but go's like shit wouldn't even pull skin off the custard

Its going to be an uphill battle with any of the motors you mention, engineering wise. But if you've enough money anything is possible.
In my mind its just as much effort to fit a V6 as it is to fit a V8. And I'd take an LS1 over a V6 any day of the week. That said, I'm fairly sure an LS2 or L98 is just as easy to fit. Why have a 5.7 if you can have a 6.0 just as easily?

Either way its going to cost you around 6-10k.
