G'day all,
I've just put new RDA slotted rotors on my vz ute..brakes are fine..although when i put the handbrake on, on a steep hill, it won't hold..im pretty sure the brake shoes have the grooves worn into them as they should but wont hold onto the new flat rotor surface, hence why its not holding...if this is the case how would i get the handbrake to hold?..drive around with the handbrake partially on for a little bit?...or is there another way...if its not even a bedding in procedure could someone please point me into the right direction as to why the handbrake wont hold on steep hills...the handbrake is adjusted properly too.
cheers everyone

Maybe try tightening the handbrakes. There is a cog on the hub that you tighten by sticking a screwdriver or similar through and turning.
