    Default Need to change struts??

    Hey everyone
    heres my question

First off, i drive a VX II S-pack so it came out with the FE2 suspension,
now ive just recently gotten my car lowered on king springs, superlows in the front and super super lows in the back, and i havent changed over my struts.. do i need to? a few people have told me that if ive lowered it i need to change over my struts too or the springs could fly out.. is this correct? or are the FE2 struts fine?

    Thanks

I'm not too sure but i think it's safer to get shocks done too. but as for the FE2's i'm not too sure.

We'll see what someone says then I'll know for next time.

a quick rule of thumb shocks/struts are good for 80,000-120,000 kms, even know they may not be leaking the valves in the shocks loose there tension which cause the shock to become soft and loose its control, and also as vr1uz-fe said also change them if your coils are not trapped, but king make the super low to be trapped with a standard strut. the other thing to think about is the strut bearing and bearing mount/plate.

Going off the king spring website, SL and SSL recommend the use of shortened shock/struts.
