    Default A Sticky situation

    Hi all,
I was just wondering, what's the best way to remove that adhesive residue which remains after you remove the registration label from the window?? Any suggestions or opinions welcome. What have you done to fix this problem?

    Thank you all.

Do you know the orange oil air fresheners? Put some of that on a rag and will take off the sticky stuff easily. However DO NOT get any of it on your dash, or seats or any other interior parts other than the glass. Then just use metho to clean it up before affixing the new label.
'Ah well, I suppose it had to come to this.'

Eucalyptus oil, but will leave some residue on the windscreen... so, follow it up with a little metho.

Nail polish remover works a treat! Be careful though as i have heard that if your window is tinted, the acetone (i think) may eat away at the tint. I have never had this problem though.

Cheers for all of the replies fellas
When it's time to apply that new registration sticker, that residue on the windscreen wont have a chance!
    Great ideas
    Thank you all
