Please don't laugh at the simplicity of this question,
But i have a few stickers on my windows made of (what appears to be) paper,
When you peel them with your fingers they just scab away but leave all of the sticky shit on the window.
Whats the best way to remove these without damaging the windows or leaving any marks?
I am afraid that things like metho will damage the tinting.
Cheers![]()
razor blades
edit* oh they are ON the tinting? prolly best rub it off lightly with your thumb.
go an get yourself a tin of wax & grease remover. bunnings, supercheap ect all sell it.
dab some on a rag and rub, glue will dissolve, wipe clean.
paper backed stickers shouldn't be too much hassle to remove.

Tint goes on the inside. If the stickers are on the outside you should be safe to use a blade. If not, then a bit of prepsol on a rag (don't drench it), rub it over a few times, then try rubbing it off with your fingers once it has softened up

windex will work fine mate
on the OUTSIDE? razor blades. dont worry it wont damage anything. i have to peel of paper stickers everyday. import declarations and lot numbers get stick on the windscreens along with paint pens from the auctions in japan. a nice fresh razor blade takes em' off in a few swipes.
easy as pie.
