Production Phases Stage 33. Any idea????

gday all

Just ordered an alto grey SS manual sedan and ive been told its at stage 33 of production...got a wait of approx 4 weeks....any idea of what stage the car has been built to?? thanks

Just to be funny - it has 33 parts added to the floor pan. (lol to self)....

No idea to truthful but 4 weeks it would include the pre delivery stuff as well so the car would be in the production phase now and running down the line.

Here is the time lag between production and delivery to the dealer on a VN Commodore. It was about 10 days from the time the computer printed the build sheet until the car was expected at the dealer.

If they say 4 weeks there is a back order of cars - with the new model and possibly the yank cop cars. They can produce upto 650 cars a day with the VE at full steam so that may have been scaled back over the last year or so. The VN avg was around 180 cars a day.
