    Default Roadworthy melbourne

    Hi all i have been doing alot of work on my 97 Holden VS Berlina lately to get it back on the road and i just wanna find out how much it would cost to do a roadworthy? and were is the cheapest place in east melbourne?

    usually they're around $80. When you say cheapest are you saying less pickiest lol?

    should be about $60-70 everywhere in melb to perform the test but you'll be lucky to pass first go
    i'm not saying there is anything wrong with your car but it's just the way it seems to work out
    if you're lucky they'll suggest you go away and fix a few relatively cheap and easy things yourself, check them when you come back and write you up another certificate without paying 70 twice
    even if you know someone, they're pretty reluctant to give out dodgy's for a bit more cash or overlook minor things these days (especially for older commos)
    vicroads have been known to cross check original rwc against defected vehicles and investigate the original rwc issuer and i'm guessing that old commos are pretty high up on the list of most popular defected vehicles.
