hq monaro side vents?

hey guys, im wanting to put the hq front fender vents on my vt. but i don't know how to go about this. are the vents cut straight into the side fender? or?? haha

Go to rare spares, and buy some reproduction vents.
Then go to a panel shop and get them to cut your VT guards and fit the new panel in.

Fairly straight forward job. Might look a little funny though.

Yeah, I don't think those vents will suit the Commodore shape. The guard contour on the HQ is also totally different to the Commodore and the insert might have to be "bent" to suit the Commodore profile.

if seen it on a photoshopped ve and it look really good. only thign is i think the vents will be too long. so im thinking of going for the hx monaro vents itl fit alot better

Don't do it...they look ####ing A on a Kingswood or old-skool Monaro, but they'd look like poo on any Commodore.
