just wondering what most of you guys who have changed your air filter have gone with. standard panel filter (k&n) or a pod filter (k&n).
any comments about them?
I believe(Please correct me people if I am wrong....) ALL exposed pod filters are illegal on the road.![]()
yeah i thought the same not 100% sure though. like the cops are ganna look under the hood anyways :P
ive gone a k&n pod with the MACE enclosure, works great, looks good and is legal as its not exposed
you got a pic of your setup? how much it set you back?
Just use the stock filter. Filters make no noticeable difference on a stock motor.
Use a K&N filter and do the 2 hole mod to your airbox.
K&N panel flows better than a K&N pod if you want a good pod buy a wildcat version they flow better than a K&N panel
I tune the oldschool way fear on the passengers face and knuckle colour cant go wrong
tabbacco is still my favorite vegetable
I have a flat K&n filter. pods are illigal in VIC for P platers
2 options here
1) Just buy a K&N pan filter and do the 2 hole mod
or
2) K&N pod filter with a enclosure

what about the mace cai's? i heard there pretty good
that look so nice ay. is that the metal piping that came with it? i thought it came with plastic piping (from wat ive read)
All it does is look different.
I can't justify spending $100+ on a K&N filter. Purely for bragging rights.
And honestly mate, there are a fair few threads already on this.. and not just on this site, google it, try other forums etc
Either K & N or lukey one, either way it's good. It's a little bit better but as said above, nothing to notice on stock.
