Hey im not sure if i have posted this in the right sectionbut i have just noticed that one of my low beams is not working and would like a few opinions on what bulbs to replace them with. The ones i had were too blue and were not very good in the wet. I would prefer lights that are brighter than the stock ones as i do alot of driving on country roads, but also not draw to much attention from the boys in blue.
Are philips X-treme power any good? or cyrystal vision? Thanks in advance.
Many threads already on headlight bulbs. The phillips x-treme power are fantastic. I had them in my VS Commodore. I would go for them over crystal vision/blue vision globes etc. X-treme globes actually do give you more light on the road where you need it. They are not coated with a blue film to make it look like you are getting more light like crystal vision etc. A blue tinge on the globe just means more glare and sometimes things like street signs seem to reflect from further away, but this doesn't mean you are getting more light, only more glare/reflection.
I got mine from here;

Thanks for the info, i think i will go with the xtreme powers.
