Hey guys just wondering if you have heard any feedback on isotta steering wheels? they look nice but will they last? how are they in comparison to the likes of momo or cheap saas products? cheers guys
ive had an isotta evoluzione in my vs for about 3 years and still looks nearly new, i paid $300 for it brand new and it is very good quality and has a much better feel than some of the cheap ones plus it looks great. but im selling the car now and dont know if i should take it out and sell it or just leave it in the car.

thats the same one i was looking at getting for my calais but with the blue inserts. looks good in the vs
Looks cheap and tacky. But hey if you like it then by all means go for it.

And i personally don't like the flat ends, i had a momo one in my car but replcaed it with a round one becuase i didn't like the flat part
Not to mention there usually not ADR approved. Plus I wouldn't want to see what your head will look like after hitting the centre of the steering wheel.

They aren't ADR approved, if there's nothing in the middle to protect your head it's not roadworthy.
hmmm.. is it still unroadworthy if your stock steering wheel has no airbag?
ok then. its on a vl and the stock steering wheel doesn't have f**k all apart from a plastic horn. still better then steel i suppose
ive never had a problem with cops regarding the steering wheel, got pulled up one night for an rbt and he just told me to press the horn to make sure it worked and didnt say anything else about it, im sure if it was defectable he would of told me, but this is in WA and i dont know if it is more strict in other states.
im in w.a anyways. noone said anything bout my woodgrain wheel on my old vl
Even if you don't get pulled up for it which would you prefer your head hit in the case of an accident? Some padding or metal?

if ur head hits the middle of the steering wheel your doing something very very sus man like blowing your own %&#% !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
These wheels are top notch. The owner was apart of the MOMO company but went out on his own and started a new line/brand.These are not a cheaply made wheel by any means.
As far as im aware the wheels are ADR approved as much as the MOMO(genuine)ones, after all he knows what it takes.
aussiesport you need to learn to read. Just a helpful tip. Even if your steering wheel is ADR approved. Keep the packaging close by as proof. It's one of the first things cops look for when handing out defects.

i had a white isotta evolutione and found it to be of very high quality as far as non padded sports steering wheels go being legal i got a rwc in vic with a wood steering wheel and it passed no problems also been pulled over heaps and the cops have never said anything (maybe because im not a young p plater but a 40 y/o) i have heard though they should be padded like the group a momo wheels for example but but ive never been quizzed on my non padded ones
