Whats the difference between degreaser and carb cleaner? Or can I just use degreaser and get the same results?

id imagine carb cleaner would haev something in it that would burn with the petrol rather than work against it. normal degreaser wouldnt do it any good. pressure pack stuff might be ok as it should be flammible.

Carb cleaner also dries pretty clean and quickly as degreaser hangs around looking greasy

ehhe
carb cleaner is a non residue leaving cleaning agent which doesnt need flushing. whereas the degreaser bacically needs some sort of water pressure to finish the job.

I would use someting like curcut board cleaner (which has simialr properties to carb cleaner, and Brakekleen) if wanting to clean airflow meters etc.

It can be a good idea to clean an airflow meter (hot wire one) if using something like a k&n filter as it can get oil residue over it effecting its role as an airflow monitoring device.
