Hi All,
I've noticed a couple of sportswagons around Perth in a very dark green colour. I'd like to use it to paint my hotrod. Unfortunately the dealers I've been to have been unable to assist me with any queries into the paint code and description. Can anyone on here recognise this dark metallic (or pearl) green paint colour and code? I found this pic of the concept sportswagon with a very similar colour.
Thanks in advance.
btt. Thanks for looking.
Thanks Troy711, I think that colour is much lighter than the one I am chasing. But I did want to use that Cobra Metallic as part of a two-tone anyway.
It's very difficult to tell from the indoor photo I posted and maybe it isn't the correct colour but is is a very dark metallic green that I have seen on a sportswagon travelling around Perth.
This it? Came out a coupla years into VEs.
In studio light it looks like this:

I believe that green above is called Poison Ivy Metallic. The paint code is 746S.
Hope that helps!
Mate can you get a Vin. Number last 8 letters/numbers or get the lot.
It will be in the bottom left hand corner of the windscreen.
Holden has new colours out.
Sent me a PM. with vin number and see what I can find out for you.
I just hope the new part numbers are on the computer.
Cheers Pete

Just go test drive one and get the paint code from under the bonnet :P
to me it looks like cobra metallic aswell. some kinda of olive green paint :P
It sounds like the OP is after the colour shown in post #5, and has been answered in post #6...
I've tried that but there aren't any at the dealers I've been to in the colour I'm chasing. I have only seen them on the road and it's kinda hard to get a paint code at 60kmh.
That's why I'm attempting here in the hope that a member has a dark olive green one and can help me with the paint code number from the tags.
Unfortunately for me it's neither the Cobra or Ivy colour as both those are relatively common.
