hey fellas, have decided to have a go at 'colour coding' the trolley strips on the side of my white vs commodore. ive seen a few threads where people have done it and i know how to do it but what i need help with is the clolour.
im going to be using spray cans.
What is the actual colour of a white vs called? and where do people get the paint from for it?
or is it just a case of matching the colour as best as possible?
thanx
Smith
the exact colour code is on your id plate in your engine bay (if its the original colour and hasnt been resprayed a different colour in the past) you can get custom mix cans made up to match exactly ,ive used them and theyre pretty good.if it has been resprayed in the past just take the fuel filler cap down and the paint can be matched off that autobarn and alot of auto paint joints do the spraycans.
cheers mate, thanx for the reply
how long does it usually take them to mix the cans of paint?
Smith
about 15 minutes at most places but the place i go to next day, theyre slack but do a good job at matching.
Most Holden spare part outlets will mix it for you
