Hey All,
I was reversing back in my ss ute on the weekend and put it back into first and nothing happened. After looking under the ute to see if the tail shaft was spinning (it was) i noticed that the right hand side output shaft out of the lsd centre has popped out about 8cm from where it should be and oil everywhere. I had a look at what oil was left in the casing and there are no metal shards.

My question is how does the shaft connect inside the housing i'm trying to figure out if its more viable to replace the entire unit or try and attack it myself and reconnect the shaft. Commonsense tells me that its probably f'd and not worth the hastle, but it doesn't hurt to ask.
