are lovells SL the same as king SL?

Hi,ive been trying to find some superlows for the front of my ss and found some lovells with the code hfl-73sl which are vr v8 superlows according to lovells website but after putting them in they seem to be sitting at a SSL level.
Are lovells SL the same as king springs SL or is there a difference?

In short, no.

SL Is the lowest Lovells make, which is in between kings SL and SSSL or Ultra low (pretty sure)

hfl-73sl should give you a hub to guard height of 345mm aprox, hope this is of some help.

it measures about 33cm from the middle of the rim to the guard,i thought these would make it sit a bit higher than it was before but i think its actually lower now

its about 15mm lower than it should, did you put new bearing plates on at the same time? as the bearing plates compress and you can get upto 10-15mm with new ones.

nah man,im going to replace them along with the shocks,strut tops etc soon
