My VP executive wagon has been playing up since two weeks ago. My girlfriend noticed it played up when she dropped me at work.
When it was at idling revs it stopped and it only did it while it was hot. A couple of days later, it went from hot to warm and would only start if you pumped the throttle.
I put new Spark plugs in and tested the leads.
Two days ago i found out that it would keep running if you kept the rpm above 2000.
I have had a DMM on the battery and doesnt get below 13.8V,
Leads are fine.
I turned the ignition to on for 2 mins the touched the coils and DFI Module and they were all room temp.
Every Spark plug and lead have ample of spark, fuel rail is fine.
My mechanic has checked the fuel pressure, pump, filter, regulator, injectors and the fuel and that is all fine.
I wanted to get the Diagnosis of the computer because the check engine light comes on all the time but there is no plug on the back of the computer.
I thought it could be the CAS so when it stopped i poured 3 litres of water over it and still did nothing.
Everyone that i have spoken too has no idea. It will crank over but wont fire or start.
Any ideas plz
