Was driving along with the flow and a car pulled out from the roadside and side swiped my car.
She hit midway down the left front passenger door and damaged right along back to the side of the rear bar.
Now, she admitted it was her fault and she was fully comp insured.
I went straight to the cop shop and reported it.
I have never been in an accident situation before so i'm unsure what to do from here? Do i just go out and get quotes for repair and give them to her to pass on to her insurance?
Does it involve my insurance, or does it need to? i would rather get money and fix it myself as it's a VN and would look stupid with fresh paint on one side.
What are my options here? Help me out please

I'd contact your insurance campany anyway to report the crash. Normally they ask for 3 quotes - your challange will be to keep the VN as they get written off real easy now days.
When my VN wagon got creamed by a Toyota from behind it got written off. It cost me $327 to buy it back from the insurance company after the payout. All the $$ went on fixing it tho.

Definitely report it to your insurance company. They will advise you on the process.
Seeing as it's not your fault all should be good.
Does it make a difference that i'm not full comp insured?

if your not full comp insured you will have to go through her insurance company bro, depending on how bad it is they will just pay you out and you can fix it your self
Your first step is to call her insurance company and tell them you were involved in an accident caused by one of their customers, give all details and have the police reports details ready too, do not lie or stretch truth. They will give you instructions from their.

To a point. Your insurance only covers for you hitting others. You need to contact her insurance company on Monday and lodge a claim. Despite her admitting fault, it's up to the insurance companies to nut out blame for each party. You may end up with a portion of the blame for failing to avoid the accident and be up for some excess.
They won't hand over money for you to fix it yourself, it will need to be done by an approved crash repairer.
