hey,
this is my first post on this forum.
I own a 2002 VU commodore Ute
it is fairly stock apart from 18" rims, superlow springs and headunit
on the weekend i put new shock in the car (monroe GT gas sports) and ever since i have been hearing a shuddering sound when accelerating in first. the shuddering does not happen when in any other gear even revers just from take off in first. i dont no what the problem is so i took it to the mechanic and he 'couldnt fault it'.
does ne one else have any ideas?
thanks in advance
Welcome to the forum.
If its auto its probably the centre bearing on the tail shaft.
Also dropping ride height pushes CV joints further into the shafts into worn areas which can also lead to shudder.
