Hi all,
A pic of some SSZ brakes caught my eye and i could help wondering.
Are the calipers similar enough to standard VT calipers to be interchangable?
Also, Are they a bolt on upgrade for VTs? The cradle looks like it pushes the caliper up and possibly out a little bit from standard. I have read around and from what i picked up, the SSZ discs are 320 or 330mm? compared to the VTs 297mm?
Im also wondering if these will bolt onto my VK, it currently has a VT conversion, but id like to go a little bigger
Here's some pics for reference:

Thanks in advance,
Jono.
as long as you have the whole kit it will bolt on a vt, should also fit the frt of a the vk but not the rear.
The SSZ calipers won't bolt straight up. You'll need to buy some adaptors as the bolt sizes are different (14mm compared to 12mm). The front rotors are 320mm.
Which bolts are these? the ones that hold to caliper to the cradle (with the slides) or the ones that bolt the cradle to the hub?
also, If the ssz ones are bigger, then i presume these adaptors are nothing more than a 1mm wall pipe that slides over the smaller bolt to make it 2mm larger in diameter yet maintain the same thread?
Thanks.
