Just wondering what the point of having adjustable panhard rods on a IRS car would be.
I know for solid diff its so they don't pull to the side when lowered but on IRS I cant possibly think of anything. I notice it has 2 rods as opposed to 1 like solid diffs also.
vt-vx panhard rods (eBay item 160504183220 end time 19-Nov-10 21:21:57 AEDST) : Cars, Bikes, Boats
Only thing I can kind of think of would be that it could control camber (pull/push the wheels in/out a little) but that's not very likely.
What is it for?
They are factory Toe adjuster rods. Think it might be VT series 2 onwards as the series 1 doesn't have them.
