    Default water in headlights

    hey guys,

    have only just noticed that water has built up in my headlights, well only in the drivers side (i knew going through the car was was a bad idea) cause this had never happend when i wash it at home..

    anyway of getting it out? their the projector type lights

    im guesiing the only way is to open it up?

    I suppose the water probably got in the headlights from the top, so just turn the car upside down and empty it out.

    then hang it on the line 2 dry haha.... just drill a small hole in the bottom where no body can see it
    Wrecking VL factory V8 only a few bits left still have full dash/crash pad
    and have a vk 202 motor and 5 speed Make an offer want it gone

    Indeed, had this problem with the VL, the rear lights were full of water.

    I just drilled some 2-3mm holes in the bottom.

    Take them out, and re seal them. And, it is a good time if you want to put some leds in them.

    yeh ive just had the light out, got out the hairdryer and heated them out nicely, looks like the water may b gone for now... if not im gonna buy some new 1's for 600 a pair maybe next week if the water comes back lol

    oh and super snake ive already got leds and hid's in them

    na i didnt actually, i just wont be goin in the automatic car wash no more haha, ill see how well i dried these out first, but i am due for new lights, the plastic lens has crap/chips all over it anyway

    edit, i have drilled a few holes around also to help ventilation
