Question How is your fuel consumption?

With the fuel prices as high as they are how is your car going? I worked mine out tonight.

I have a 2002 VXII Acclaim wagon and this week i was getting 100km out of just about 10L of fuel for in-town driving.

Last week i went to Brisbane on just under half a tank - it was about 450km from memory.

not too bad - why do you ask (im getting around 10.3/100km, or around 500km for a 55ltr fill). Danm that RON98 stuff aint cheep, u need like a small personal loan everytime you fill up.

We own also a landrover (petrol) and get around 320km for an 80ltr fill around the city (25ltr/100km). I wouldnt wannna dirve around aust with it at the moment.

That'd probably be a Discovery V8 wouldnt it, or a Rangey. I work for landrover!

Buick v6's can't get 10's in the city, full stop. 12 L would be the best for an automatic, also depends on average speed or heaviness of the trffic.
I/2 a tank and gets 450 km don't say anything if you don't have something sensible to say. Average consumption readouts on fords and holdens are very unreliable.
