vx or vx2?

I've bought a vx ,it has series ii badge on boot,build date 2001/aug on the tag
is it real s2 or s1?coz I heard vx2 starts from end of 01.
btw I've searched,
anyone knows?

The series one grill has ribs that run up and down where as the series two grill has a honeycomb pattern in it.

one way of the ways to tell is the indicator and wiper stalks are different from series I to II
series I are bulky and kinda squarish (are similar to older models vt, vs)
series II are slimmer and rounder (are similar to vy vz)

never seen a VT wiper stalk,so cant compare

VX 1 doesnt have rear camber control arms either on rear end, VX2 does, helps the tyres last abit longer on rear

My car is a Series 2 and its late 2001.

You will find out pretty quickly if its series 1 or 2 if you lower it.

re SUSPEC and Grennan,that's exactly why I want to find out if its S2.I don't know what camber control arms look like,and,I was just too lazy to knee down and check.kind of got used to depending on the internet.lol
but I think I found out it's a S2 by comparing wiper stalks on carsales like dzach23(cheerz for the info) suggested,my one has slimmer wiper stalk instead of squarish stalk.so I guess it's S2.
