New wipers - smudging

Got soem new wipers for My VE....they been on for a week or two but todays really the first day its rained really heavy and I notice some typ of smudge like a foggy thing apperars when the wiper gets to the top and goes back....it evaporates eventually if theyre on slow

Tried washing the windscreen and blades but that just added a squeak as well to the combination....its rigt in my line of sight, annoying as hell and very distracting

How much did you pay for the wipers?
Depends what they're made out of, prices vary from $7-$70 for a top notch compound wiper that will last you years.

Got the tip some dishwash liquid in warm water/wash blades and screen then rinse immediately...worked a treat
