Hey Guys,
today i decided id buy my mates fathers ute of him, its a VS ute with a VN Interior already manual and with a smooth motor, running a V6 beautifully, but with minor dents and scratches the car has been used to get to and from his wrecking yard for 7 years and my mates father being only the 2nd owner, with updated log books its amazing the condition of this ute.

But im coming here woundering on your guys opinion on some stuff, coming from a mainly V8 and import family, im the only V6 but im also the youngest, almost off my p's i think ive got about 6 months left, by then i think ill be ready to upgrade to a V8, i wounder weather it would be worth while building a 5.0ltr V8 for the VS or going and buying a VZ with say a 6 speed manual SS ute, with already a V8 in it.

Im a very musical guy and i listen to alot of dance music where i need a decent bass, i was woundering if there is anyone who make Sub-boxes for under the seats, because alot of people who own VS utes will know that there is no were to put subs in these, and im not a big fan off puting electricals in the tray when im carrying motors and car parts all day everyday.

I've got a full tinting set for windows, should i do some just below legal percent tints all round exept the front window of course, maybe 18% or 20%.


As it is white at the moment, im considering rubbing it back and getting my brother to spray it Black for me as ive always had a soft spot for a black ute, but im woundering if anyones got a VS Ute in black so i can get a idea of what they look like.

Exhaust System with a straight to the floor dump pipe, although still somewhat standard looking, ( big question, would this be highly defected ? ).

Well yeah if anyone can give me some feed back on these ideas, and maybe some rough costs of these ive got a few mates around and some of the work i can do myself, might be abit interesting to see what prices people come up with.

Well if your going to be upgrading to a V8 when your off your P's then i wouldn't waste your time on any motor or exhaust mods/upgrades. You could possibly lower it and keep it well serviced, maybe put an LSD in it.

theres these subs you can buy that fit under your seat of your car that are small and have an inbuilt amp, i heard that have a far bit of bass for there size

Its already got a LSD in the rear, and exhaust and that im waiting to see if i actually go V8, im considering driving it around for a while and buying a VZ SS ute . But i dunno i havnt heard alot back about this car, not sure what to do.
