locking problems

hey guys,

whenever i press the lock button on my vr, all the doors will lock (as they are supposed to)
but after about 2-3 seconds the car will open itself back up again?
The same thing happends when i use the key to lock it.

If anyone had a clue what the problem could be i would appreciate it.

aftermarket central locking or standard?, i have seen a few aftermarket systems do this, but never a genuine commo one (if it has an alarm and aftermarket central locking module in it, it is usually caused by a solonoid that doesnt quite open all the way, needs adjusting and it trips the 'brain' module into thinking your trynna unlock the drivers door , master solinoid and unlocks the car, if this is the case it has to be the fualt of the master (4 wire) soilinoid needing adjusting, it needs to be fully out, not half way)
If you have a standard setup i would suspect the bcm. . . .
