My poor ute!

I can't beleive it. On my way to work this morning I had an accident!! I was waiting to turn right through stopped traffic. A 4WD stopped and left a gap for me to go through. He looked at me and signalled it was clear to go through. I waved thanks and moved, then WHAM a taxi slams the passenger side of me doing about 50k's!!!! She looks pretty nasty. What I couldn't beleive is the 4WD driver saw the accident and continued on his way to work and didn't even stop! Anyway she's fully insured I just hope the repairer does a good job.

ouch its a real bugger when something like that happens, someone takes the time to wait for you and then theres the other lane to worry about.

where is she getting the surgeroy? should send a get well card

Damn that's a shame.
I am always a bit wary when someone waves me on and lets me know it's safe to pass, cross over, overtake, whatever.

I must have watched the movie "Duel" a few too many times, where Dennis Hopper is waved on to overtake in the mountains by the evil semi driver and does so, but as he is going past the semi, they come over a rise to find himself looking at the grille of a bloody great truck coming towards him...
