headunit not saving setting?

hey this is probably the wrong place to be posting this but at the moment i dont really give a shit, i recently put in a head unit and when ever i change the settings then turn off my car and open the door to stop the radio and then turn it bak on the radio dosent turn on with the car and it also doesnt save the settings which is really anoying, i hav read that u can change around the red and black wires and it should fix it which i hav done but then the head unit doesnt even work???

any advice would be appreciated

Sounds like you don't have the constant power wired up correctly.

swap red and yellow not red and black bud. See how you go

yep u have the constant power wired to the accesories power and visa verse. u used the areopro wiring harness adapter?? i used that in my vy ss and they had it wrong, swap the yellow with the red on the harness adapter side
