rims discolor ratio

hey everyone left my car parked on the street the other day and it look like someone poured something on my chrome rims and they were realy discolored so took it down to my dad and he gave me a really mild mix of and acid base to clean them up it worked quite well maybe a lil to well not sure but it looks like i got a lil bit of chemical burn on my rims

any surgestions on how to remove the burn marks?????

dunno mate but it was on all 4 rims

who did you piss off? with the burn marks nothing you can really do but use tyre black

dunno man i was on holidays probly so #### heads bored seen my red p plates and through i #### these rims up got nothing better to do

sorry about above just pissed off ok well had a throught about it cleaned up the rims best i could dont look to bad where whould be the best place to go to see if they can polish it out of get them fixed up?? i live in queensland sunny coast

been polishing for ages now lol and it looks like it will polish it well most of it anyway

grab some of this
Car Care Products / Speciality Brands / Exterior / Metal & Chrome Polish / Purple Metal Polish

and one of these
Car Care Products / Mothers' / Car Accessories / Buffing Pads / Mini Power Ball

and get into it. at the very least go the purple polish and do it by hand with a clean soft microfibre cloth. using any harder polish will put very fine scratches into the chrome
