Hey guys,
Quick question, I was tightening bolt on my water pump and the bolt snapped in half, now i got a bolt thats too far in to use pliers to get out, and i cant use an easy out or else ill damage the inside tunnel of where the bolt goes into.
the bolt snaped on an angle, so if i use an easy out, will just kick off to the side.
anyone have idea,s or know of any decent priced services,

can you get at the bolt if you remove the pump?
I did the same thing on a Datsun 120Y coupe about 15 years ago, after that just slapped on some silicone and put 1 bolt back in. It was fine for the next 5+ years till we sold it to the wreckers.
I know you probably wont want to do that but its a quick fix if you need to take it somewhere.
would it leak though, seeing as its high pressured, if i use gasket glue or something similar.
is using an extractor possible if you went and replaced it with the next size up bolt? You'd have to re tap it so probs not
Depends on how far the broken bolt is to the next bolt either side. If there is too much of a gap then it will leak.
Show me a picture and i'll see.
VR38 made a valid point. Cant you get to the bolt if you take the pump off??
Remove the water pump and you will probably find the bolt will be only finger tight. May need to use a flat blade screw driver if it broke flush with the block

would a left-hand drill bit work to drill it out ?..
