Use a Heat gun to sort of melt it together. Put a bolt and washer through the middle and compress it while you warm it. Thats how they do it from the factory anyway!

Can i suggest mabye cutting them out with a holesaw, then just put some super glue in between the pieces and wrap it all up in electrical tape?

thats cool, where can i get a 3 inch block of rubber from that i can cut the shapes out of? also what would be the best way to make a stencil? i was thinking i would put the old worn out one on the rubber pad and draw a line around it.

Heat up the old rubber and and push it really hard into the urethane. then it will leave a stencil for you.

im liking the hole saw idea best, i might heat it up first so it cuts through a bit cleaner. i would really like to hear from a JC memeber that has done this to their VN before, or if their cousin has done it. some expierence is required.

You can buy urethane blocks at places like in the link below..You would just have to drill or cut them to how you want them.

exactly what type of bushes are you planning on making ? the little donut ones like on commodore sway bar links or the more complicated control arm type cylindrical bush with a steel tube through the middle ? If its just the donut type you could do it, the other type don't bother unless you can make a simple mould and cast them.
How thick sheet are you looking for ?

I happen to work with urethane if you are after any tips
