powder coating rims

hey guys,

ive been looking into getting my rims powder coated because they are looking a bit sad and i want a new look without spending a bucket to get new rims... ive been quated $50 bucks a rim which i think is reasonable by rapid powder coating in bendigo, my question is though my rims ahave some gutter rash and i was wanting to know how you go about fixing that before the rims are coated?

any help would be greatly appreciated, plus any info on places that could do it in vic.

The powder coat will fill them in to some extent if they are not too deep.
