rocker difference

hey guys, is there a difference between carby fed rockers on 308 to injected 304?
reason im asking is that i have a set of rockers off a blue motor 308 on my efi heads coz when its cold and i rev it a bit it pops out the throttle body like valve clearences are wrong.? but once its hot no problems.
