Heat proof paint

Anyone know what the normal price is for a can of heat proof paint?

I just wanted to get a can to sprat a manifold insulator before I put it on, Im not too keen on the wood colour.

I went to the local Repco and it was $25 per can and I was thinking thats a bit steep, Im sure it was only about $14 a few months ago but I cant remember where I saw it.

Doesnt matter if its VHT or 3M or any other brand, Im going to paint it in a few hours after the shops open.

Id prefer something cheaper but don't really want to drive 50km in to the city to check all the shops there to find out its all the same price there anyway.

I just brought a can of 3M that has a heat rating at 300d for $15.95 from supercheap just yesterday. They also have 650d $18.95
