Default opinions on bonnet badge with black background!!

Hey lads/ladies..well as usual i got bored today and been a typical bloke started fiddlin with the car..i found my bonnet badge and decided to put some neolethane rubber background to it and see how it looks on the car, personally i think it came up pretty good and gunna do the back boot the same..the rubber is 2mm so sits that off bonnet but hardly noticable unless up close and personnal lol

heres afew pics and comments are welcome : )

Yep, I reckon it looks ok, too. The black contrasts well with the white. It probably wouldn't look as striking on a darker colour.

I reckon if you get the grills painted white the badge will stand out more, just a thought.

cheers m8,I reckon if you managed to get some sort of diff vinyl color or something to go over the rubber as an alterative backing could maybe use it for other coloured vehicles : )

    Agree'd, nice effort mate!

I think, like others have said, its because you have got a 'blacked out' front end going on, really ties in well with it all.

ok so had a go at the rear boot today but didnt go according to plan..firstly the bloody rain came so had to back the car up to my front to finnish it..secondly the badge didnt quite stick at the top but the rest is fine..so next sunny day will tackle the top and finnish securing it to the boot!!

quick pic during the process will get a better one down track of the rear..

edit: new rear pics after fix up!!
