    Default warped Ecotec engine cover bolts...help!

    so have just bought a VX off a mate. i took the engine cover off and went to put it back on and noticed the bolts were all bent, trie to put it on anywayz but one snapped so i wet down the wreckers and got somemore bolts.
    i having trouble getting these bolts back in, i have managed to get the fron to 3/4 he way in but thats it.
    any ideas how to get them pushed through?

    The are a press fit from memory into the plenum flange.

    Either leave the cover off and tap the studs back out, you might be able to pack it with washers and do a nut up on it to pull it through.
