Upgrade or trade-in

I am starting to get bored of my VZ Crewman, not to mention its had more problems with it then id care to mention. Now I have in my opinion 2 choices:

1) Trade my Crewman in and get a HSV Maloo.

2) Heavily upgrade the engine, thinking a 650HP Mopar crate engine and a Maloo body kit. That would just be the start I think.

What do you think is better?

Upgrade, then work the engine which will already have more poke in it (when funds allow lol), in my honest opinion the maloo is nicer in all ways aswell... The crew mans back seats are a heap of shit

Get a maloo. depends what model your going... I personally think the VY bodykits on HSV's were a huge let down, especially the front end. VZ's in my opinion are the nicest looking HSV's (don't get me wrong, i love the E series too). But don't stay with the crewman, Its more unneeded body weight, they are just plain hideous, and with a maloo kit it'd look even worse. Up grade mate, best option.

Compared to what? I Hilux? When compared to any other dual cab the Crewman is ####ing awesome!

I can pick the engine up for around 4k, the maloo will cost me alot because id either go the brand new E3 series, or go a VZ Maloo, because they are just sexy.

Maloo is better car, better looking everything. Crewman with maloo kit would look hideous in my opinion, and seriously, they are so pointless.... If you need a work ute, get a ute, if you need space but have a family get a wagon... I hate crewmans, soooo ugly. And no matter what, the maloo will be better man, i'd definately go a maloo. And i'd go VZ, cause you sound like a want speed, and for like, 30 grand difference (rough guys, don't want to be picked on for this haha), you spent that extra on the VZ instead of getting a E3 series, you've got like, a 10000000000kw maloo man. So i'd definately go the maloo, any day.. everyone else has said that too man, think thats the best way for you to go. Hope to have helped.
