hey guys,
im not sure what to buy for a first car, im keen on a svz ute or ve sv6 sedan?
would anyone be able to give some advice?? thanks
well it depends on what you want to do to the car because if you want to say put a dvd player in later on then a ve wont let you because the stereo is all wired into the cars computer but you can change it in a svz
that's a pretty broad question mate...
i'd suggest having a look around this forum, see what members have done to their rides, how much it's cost, what's availible, see who's asking what, what they complain about, what are common faults, ect ect...
then, you should look at the features/restrictions and look at your budget and decide for yourself...
basically more research...
good luck!
yeah ok, well im more looking at the mechanical and visual side of things, whats the difference with the motors? if you no, thanks
No offence man but do a search, this question gets asked like every fortnight
set a reasonable budget.
its better to have the cash to buy a car. then take out a loan and pay a heck of alot more back.
well question 1 would be
Do you actually need a ute (eg have a trade) or need a sedan to carry people around and that
maybe we should make a proper sticky thread about first car buying tips =P
pfft get a ute. 2 seats. seeing in vic you can only have 2 people in there it means you dont need to be pressured into driving more people.
Well in my opinion you have to decide it yourself because you wanted to buy it for yourself and if you will satisfy yourself for the one and people will recommend you the other then you will never feel comfortable in buying any of those cars you are asking...
hmmmm i dunno if i would be spendin that much on a first car man. very easy to wreck yourself in a ute and being your first car you will get excited trust me...also insurance would be a killer. id be saying for a first car antyhing from a vs to a vu, i have a vs ute (was and still is my first car) and dont plan on letting it go anytime soon, reliable as s***. well mine has been anyway.
Your budget, age, licence type and driving history (insurance) would be of use for this post...
For all 8 cylinders...
I am also agree with you Above guys.. Its according to your budget and choice of color and model....
